We built this app to collect laughs, not data.

This policy covers the Great American Quiz mobile app for iOS and Android and the website greatamericanquiz.com. It is written to be read, not skimmed past. If anything is unclear, write to us at the address at the bottom.

What the app collects

Nothing about you, by default. The app has no accounts, no sign-up and no login. Specifically:

Your answers are processed on your device to calculate your score and are not sent anywhere.
The name you type for a Premium certificate is used only to draw the certificate image on your device. It is not uploaded or stored by us.
Certificate images are rendered on your device. When you tap Share, your phone's own share sheet sends the image to the app you choose. We never see it.
No analytics, no advertising SDKs, no tracking of any kind are included in the app.

Purchases

The optional Premium certificate is a one-time in-app purchase billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms and privacy policies. To deliver and restore the purchase we use RevenueCat, a purchase-management service. RevenueCat receives a random, app-specific identifier for your installation and your purchase receipt. It does not receive your name, email or quiz answers. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Website

The website is a static page. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may log your IP address as part of serving the font files. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

Children

The app is intended for adults and is rated accordingly in the stores. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete. Purchase records live with Apple or Google and can be managed from your store account. If you believe we hold anything about you, contact us and we will check.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published here with a new date. Changes that affect what is collected will also be noted in the app's store listing.
